Gomez supplies the best fresh produce which is also ethically and sustainably grown, sourced and delivered. We are committed to upholding the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work (1998) and fulfilling our responsibility to respect human rights (UNGPs 2011) within our own business and supply chain. As Sedex members we are SMETA audited. Our grower partners are Sedex registered, GLOBALG.A.P certified and as sponsors of the Spanish Ethical Trade Forum we collaborate with others to share best practice. As experts in minimising environmental impact, our farmers work to manage resources and reduce carbon and water footprints.

Gomez has partnered with Fareshare, the UK’s largest charity fighting hunger and food waste. FareShare save good food from industry from going to waste and redistribute it to frontline charities and good causes across the UK. At Gomez, our aim is to ensure that fresh produce suitable for human consumption, which would otherwise go to waste, is utilised by FareShare. As growers who put everything into what we produce we are passionate about perfectly edible produce going to better use. We want our produce to help provide nutritious, healthy meals to those who are vulnerable and otherwise might not have access to fresh vegetables. Surplus produce unsuitable for human consumption is utilised by local farmers as animal feed.
